From Most, the route winds through gentle terrain along the Bílina River. In the village of České Zlatníky, a view opens up of Zlatník Peak, beneath which the bike trail passes and which stands out as a prominent landmark with its nature reserve. Once you pass Zlatník, a breathtaking view of the legendary Bořeň opens up on the horizon—this giant phonolite massif is the largest of its kind in Central Europe. The route then takes you to a unique bicycle overpass in Liběšice, allowing you to safely cross the busy main road as you approach Bílina. The section between Liběšice and Bílina runs partly along a side road and an unpaved path.
In Bílina, the bike path runs right past the Kyselka Spa Park, where the famous mineral water springs forth. Right next to it, you’ll find a modern swimming pool and campground, where you can take a break for a meal, cool off in the pool during the summer, or simply relax in the shade of the trees. From Bílina, the route continues through Světec, Hostomice, and Straky to Teplice, the destination of this stage. In Teplice, the extensive Castle Garden with its ponds, the historic cobblestone square with its Classicist houses, and the renowned spa street—where the entire third stage ends and where you’ll have no trouble finding a great dinner and lodging—are definitely worth a visit.
In terms of surface and safety, the route runs mostly along secondary roads or unpaved paths. A smaller portion follows a bike path or roads closed to motor vehicles. The surface varies from asphalt to gravel and unpaved forest trails to rougher roads with potholes. The surface is particularly rough in the sections between Liběšice and Bílina, Chudeřice and Světec, and Hostomice and Křemýž. Therefore, ride carefully in these sections.
The most physically demanding part of the route is from Hostomice to Teplice; in particular, the section from the Všechlapy crossroads to the village of Straky and on to Teplice is very challenging and features a steep climb.
