This cycling trip takes you through the landscape at the foot of the Ore Mountains, which is undergoing a fascinating transformation and where industrial history meets modern relaxation and spa elegance. Unusually, the trip starts at the main railway station in Ústí nad Labem, from where you and your bike can comfortably take the train to Most, where your cycling adventure officially begins.
From Most station, you first set off along cycle route no. 25. Your first stop is the crystal-clear Lake Most; nearby, don't miss the world-famous Deanery Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which in 1975 was moved in its entirety to a new location in a unique operation. Beyond the town you smoothly join the Pánevní cyklotrasa, route no. 66, which leads you along the Bílina river to the town of the same name. Here, be sure to visit the Kyselka spa complex with its beautiful park and the chance to cool off at the nearby local swimming pool. Continue along route no. 66. Between Bílina and Světec the route follows unpaved tracks and calls for a little caution. The route then continues into the hills between the villages of Křemýž, Pňovičky and Straky. The final climb is almost a mountain sprint and brings you all the way to the spa town of Teplice. Here you will be charmed by extensive spa parks, historic architecture and thermal springs. After the more demanding part of the trip, be sure to reward yourself with good food and drink. From Teplice, follow route 66 towards Chabařovice. First comes a climb past Doubravka and up to Suché, but as a reward a beautiful panorama of the České středohoří hills, led by Milešovka, opens up before you. After a few kilometres you reach the recreational Lake Milada, the ideal place for a short break on the beach. From the lake it is only a short ride to the finish in Ústí nad Labem, where the trip ends. The whole route offers a great combination of swimming, history and relaxation.
